The controller for the processing of personal data on this website is Maher Mahouachi, a freelance IT consultant and software developer, operating under the trading name CloudNetix. The trading name does not constitute a separate legal entity.

01 Hosting and server logs

This website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. When you visit this website, Cloudflare processes connection data in server and security logs, including your IP address, browser type, referring URL, and the date and time of access.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests of the controller in the secure and reliable operation of this website.

Where Cloudflare processes personal data on behalf of the controller, it does so under Cloudflare's Data Processing Addendum (DPA). Connection data may be processed on Cloudflare's infrastructure, including servers in the United States. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, and its DPA includes Standard Contractual Clauses for international data transfers. Cloudflare retains server log data according to its own retention terms; no specific retention period is publicly specified for Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare security cookies

Depending on your browser and network conditions, Cloudflare may set cookies on this website. Cloudflare describes __cf_bm as a cookie used to support its Bot Management services, and cf_clearance as a cookie that stores proof that a security challenge was passed. No analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies are set on this website by the controller.

02 Contact by email

When you email maher@cloudnetix.de, your email address and the content of your message are processed in order to respond to your enquiry.

Legal basis: Article 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interests of the controller in responding to professional enquiries. Where an email is clearly part of pre-contractual negotiations, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR may additionally apply.

Retention: Emails are retained for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry. Business correspondence may be retained for up to six years (§ 147(1) No. 2 AO, German Fiscal Code). Where an email constitutes an accounting record, retention may extend to ten years (§ 147(1) No. 4 AO).

This website contains links to external websites including LinkedIn and Google Calendar. These are normal hyperlinks. The controller does not actively transmit personal data to these services merely by displaying a link. When you click a link, your browser connects directly to the external site, which is subject to its own privacy policy.

04 Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access (Art. 15), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20), and to object (Art. 21). To exercise any right, contact maher@cloudnetix.de.
